Price isn't really an issue but I would prefer to spend 200 or less

I recently got the Bose Companion 2 Series III, really happy with them. They replaced a 2.1 setup which I don't miss at all

How's the bass without a sub though? I feel like it'd be hard to go back to not having one at this point.

That was my main concern when I got them. There was a slight noticeable lack of bass at first but it really was minimal. Check out the reviews, a lot cover the lack of a sub
