To me, the John Wick universe gets less interesting the more it expands, but I guess it's always nice to watch guys get shot in the head for a couple hours.This is how I feel. The deeper it gets, the dumber it gets. John is just an idiot unable to see two steps ahead of him and that leads him to so much trouble. One could say everything he's done is self inflicted.
Not from what I've heard. However,the director shot 2 different endings for the film. One where he dies, which is what he wanted, and the one where he lives, which is what the studio wanted to keep squeezing out the sequels.
Do you need to catch up on the prior films to enjoy and understand this. Or should I watch the prior films first.Please see the other 3 first. The characters and the world really don't make much senae otherwise. Each movie builds and they don't re-explain.
