Dismissing everything the other side has to say is how we got where we are. Granted, ever since the tea party revival, most modern reps have nothing good to say anyway.

Yeah I've "debated" a couple of these before where they will mention they're liberals but then start using the exact talking points a conservative would use. It's why the moment I see someone talking in bad faith I stop because there was never a discussion to begin with.
