my biggest pet peeve: people who can't stop talking, or in other words, talking your ear off. you know what i mean, when someone has you "locked" into a conversation. they're doing 100% of the talking, you're doing 0%. they keep you on the hook for like 15+ minutes. i assume people who do this have poor social queues, because they don't realize the other person isn't interested. stop talking!

Recently, when you're getting fast food somewhere (walk-in) and your order completely disappears from the system. You find out after waiting maybe 15-30 mins. Happened to me twice in the same week, at different places.

I feel ya. There's this woman I keep having to deal with at work, and I just can't believe she got to be as old as she is without ever learning how to read a room or shut the fuck up once in a while.

On a similar note, my biggest pet peeve is being interrupted. Active listening is fine, but some people just won't wait their turn and it feels a bit insulting.

Armchair experts. People who make up fabrications on the spot over a subject they clearly know little to nothing about, yet cannot handle being accused of lying.

People who seemingly can't think for themselves. A common example being that if you were to post a comment that features a term or counterargument that a replier isn't familiar with, instead of looking it up themselves or paying attention to the context, they instead are all like 'wHaT???' or 'aNd...?.' Likewise, if the person's counterargument is too vague or is simply nonsensical, refusing to explain themselves also makes them just as bad.

People who have computer problems at work and literally always just throw their hands up in the air in defeat immediately without ever taking at least a few minutes to try and see if they can figure out what went wrong.

And this is at a place where you have to be very computer literate. So its really part of your job description to not just be dead in the water when you run up against any issues.
