anyone in school this semester?

i start school tomorrow, taking calc 2 and sociology (i go part time). expecting sociology to be easy, but i know calc 2 will be hard. pre-calc kicked my ass, but calc 1 i did really well.

if you've already started, how are classes going so far? if not, what are you taking and how are you feeling about it?

Out of all the calculus's I took, Calculus 2 is definitely the hardest one >_> I hated that class. If you take Calc 3, it's way easier

damn, and i know you're just in school for fun lol. i don't have to take calc 3 thankfully, but hopefully i can do well in calc 2. i purposely signed up for the same professor that i had in calc 1 because i like his grading style and format.

Hopefully he's good >_> Memorize your integrals and learn when to apply them lol. I had to study nonstop for that class

Yeah, to get my administrative credential. My son is a college freshman taking calculus this semester. Good luck to you math students.

A friend of mines barely started and she's already anxious about midterms though

does it count if i drive others to and from school?

it's a weird trade-off, because he's kinda awkward and doesn't have much of a personality, but i like his policies and grading format. on exams, he grades out of 100 points, which is nice because it gives me extra wiggle room to make mistakes. other professors grade out of 20 or 25 points and that can suck when losing points lol.

I started almost two weeks ago. I'm taking Computer Science 1 and Security in Computing. So far I have a way better grasp on the material for CS1 since I took it last semester too and have been keeping up with my assignments and everything. I'm feeling good about this semester, I just have to keep at it.

I genuinely regret waiting so long to take Calc 2. Now I have to retake that one too at some point and I know I'm going to have to do a ton of prep for it. Turns out I also actually liked the material too so there's that as well.

im a CS major as well. i'm actually 30 years old, so i kinda waited a long time too. i took pre-calc when i was 19, and failed it. 10 years later i returned back to school and now im on a positive path.

same here man. went to school when i was 19-20, then dropped out. returned in 2021.

This is my last semester in college before I graduate with a bachelor's degree in business. I'm as unmotivated as I've ever been since covid started, which isn't great since I'm also considering law school...

I really dislike the college town I'm in. The students are just so rich and preppy and superficial. Obviously that's a generalization but walking through the business school I feel like an alien or a spy. I haven't had a life here since covid began.

Oh yeah. My school tends to start late. I go to a community college, not sure if that has anything to do with it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was me you were talking about, because the semester ends late here as well lol.
