Arguable. The legality depends on where you live and marijuana is not in and of itself bad for you. I do agree that smoking is bad for you, though.

13 and it was probably the greatest summer of my life.

There were like 12-13 of us who tried to split a single joint at like 11pm in the Quiznos parking lot a few of my friends worked at and gave everyone free sandwiches from.

I got over a hundred free sammies personally, and i'm like one of 30 people they were giving out to. Pretty sure the owner was using the shop as a tax laundering location (cause that's what he's in jail for now) and didn't give a shit.

Anyway, we all share the joint, raid the quiznos of sandwiches and chips. Shit was awesome.

I used to ride my bike, guitar on my back, a couple of miles to a friends house every Friday. We would jam and just play music. He had a couple of friends who constantly smoked. Id get hotboxed every week, and one week I finally accepted when it was passed to me.

I still remember riding my bike home that night, right around dusk, just really vibing. I got home just as my mother was putting dinner out... tacos. I wrecked them mother fuckers.

The next day my mother gave me the talk. She told me she got my father high for the first time and in only ever got a headache from doing it. Lol
Don't look too closely at the Mistletoe on my belt buckle.

I learned when you're young you can't really appreciate the high. You're just a dumb kid going "dooood im totally high!!!!" with your friends.

But as an adult smoking weed, I find myself appreciating the change in my mental processes. I start to hyper empathize with people and self-reflect on all my actions to an almost self-destructive degree.

Pretty much this didn't really start drinking till 16 cause I disliked it at first. But at 14 I picked up cigarettes weed and even tried shooting up a few times. Fortunately my friend who was my only means of obtaining the latter cut me off saying I was too young and he regretted introducing it to me.

12 or 13. Best friend had some and had nothing to roll it with so he used some homework that was due the next day. Not the greatest lol. Remember feeling giddy and like I was floating. The only thing that made me feel that way again was when I tired shrooms recently.
