Anyone else play this? I just started it and I am loving it. I usually don't play many online multiple games but this one is pretty fun

I played it for a bit... It is surprisingly fun... Really liked playing as Athena (which is funny because I hated her in Smite)...

I'll have to jump back on again...

I'm working on getting Thanatos. Tried him out and he seems to fit my playstyle the most. Hopefully they will add some more gods. Will say though that I really don't get why King Arthur is even in the roster. He's definitely no god

he's also in smite. I guess the myths capure the imagination enough that they decided to make him a god anyways.

This... Also some of the gods in Smite aren't even Gods and more like legends or myths... Like Medusa or Arachne...

Mulan is in the game for fucks sake. Merlin too. There's tons of characters that aren't "god's" in the game. Guan Yu from dynasty warriors? Yep he's in there.

Guan Yu's title was "the Loyal and Righteous God of War, the Holy Great Deity." I'd pretty much expect him to be a rep for anything like this.

Chinese ancestor veneration definitely has some of them reaching mythical status. Guan Yu is still worshipped today although it's a little niche.

As far as Mulan goes, in terms of Smite lore she was elected to be the "mortal rep" in the battleground.

King Arthur and Merlin were a little controversial at first but that's mostly because they're well known.

People are still big mad about Cthulhu though.

Only thing I don't play is jungle. I mean I can play it but I really suck at it. My favorite thing to play is solo. I'll add you when I log on next. I've been big on Cyberpunk 2077 the past few weeks and haven't even logged on.
