Just got back from the drive thru at Wendys where I had a mobile order. Part of the order was a frostychino and when I asked for it to have no ice the lady wanted to charge me more. I couldnt specify no ice in the app when I placed the mobile order.

Seemed a bit unreasonable to me but Im curious as to what others think.

fuck that, fountain drinks literally cost the company pennies per serving to produce. they have the highest profit margin of any item in most food places.

Most chain coffee shops wont charge you for no ice, for an iced coffee or iced espresso drink. Fast food joints i could totally see them trying that.

Yea at Starbucks you can say no ice and they wont charge you more.

IIRC, the containers cost more than the actual beverage, in both the raw material and processed senses.
