More fun facts about Better than Ezra:
the song "Good" (and probably "The Killer Inside" and "Rosalia") are about Selma Hayek. Lead singer and her lived together for a while before Deluxe came out. She was the girl from their "Rosalia" video, but I actually think the song was written about her too).
When I saw them in concert in 2003, the lead singer looked me directly in the eyes and tossed me his sweaty towel from off stage, but the girl i was with didnt know i was bi so i just gave the towel to some other girl who was freaking out xD
The "Untitled" track on Deluxe is actually 20 years ahead of it's time (or 5 years too late, however you want to look at it). It's a druggy synthwave mix that sounded really strange back in the day, but if you listen to it now you'd swear it was the Hotline Miami soundtrack.

The other main theme from Deluxe is dealing with abusive parents, or one abusive parent, in a rough household, probably something that he and Hayek had in common.
I'm trying to find the track listing for their first album, Surprise, which they self-produced. Some of those songs are on Deluxe and it helps to separate the new songs from the old ones.
