I think that stuff comes and goes in waves. I know my anxiety certainly does. What can you do ride it out until more calm again? Or is there anything that calms you more quickly?Idk, nothing's helping.
I was full of despair last month but then I became interested in the Myers Briggs 16 personalities again and started to feel like maybe I could reach my full potential if I keep on trying. So now I'm on a self improvement kick and working out harder and reading books about improving your mental state. I feel like nothing can bring me down and a couple of people I know have already commented that I seem more confident.Good, I'm glad things are working out better for you.
TC post a selfieWhy?
Its important to put a face to a namePost #225 in the selfie topic here.
Have you tried doing things to help other people instead of focusing on yourself?Yeah, sort of. Spend a lot of time helping my parents, and loaned my brother a bunch of money I probably shouldn't have.
I feel like that sentence might come across as shitty but I genuinely dont mean it to be.
Which parts of the despair feel exaggerated (I'm never going to have any money and just scrape by) and which parts feel more immediate (I don't have enough money to pay rent in two weeks)?Idk, it's just in general, but mostly being triggered by loneliness.
I know the feeling... SorriesSorry for you as well.
Any places close by you could walk/drive to? Just to sit with your thoughts around other people?
Idk, it's just in general, but mostly being triggered by loneliness.
Yeah, sort of. Spend a lot of time helping my parents, and loaned my brother a bunch of money I probably shouldn't have. Not what I meant. Try spending some time working with a charity organization. Help with a food drive or something.
