Technically, I have already quit, but Wednesday is my last day.
I have spent the last three years and 10 months being a mailman in Australia. Overall the work is good and it pays well, but I hate the hours. Starting at 5:30am every day really isnt my kind of thing. Then because of the huge workload, I usually dont finish until after 3pm. On really busy days, sometimes not until after 4.
Im also not that great at it and sometimes the supervisor bugs me about being too slow.
I also dont like being out in the weather all day, especially in winter when it rains. The long term sun exposure also concerns me, even though I put on sun screen every day.
I start a new job at an automotive parts retailer right after easter.
