Of course its curb; but it would never have been without seinfeld. If someone wonders about 90's tv, I point them to curb because its a natural evolution and is more current.

But Seinfeld blew the doors off, and Larry is a huge part of that. He was and is so central to comedy. I dont think anyone else has his measure in terms of time frame for innovation.

Seinfeld and it's not even close. Sitcoms wouldn't even fucking exist without Seinfield.

Funny you bring this up, I just forcefully binged through all 10 seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm during ramadan. It had its comedic moments, I'll give it that.

I might have to rewatch seinfeld though because it's been too long. I feel like I'd see obvious influences of larry david now that I know what he's like inside and out.

Seinfeld has just never appealed to me at all whereas Curb is a GOATed comedy.

Seinfeld is the greatest sitcom ever.

I watched a few episodes of Curb back in the day, it never hooked me. It's non stop cringe/embarrassing/awkward situations kind of comedy which I only enjoy in moderate amounts.

Frasier is the greatest sitcom ever, actually.

I agree about watching Curb in moderation though, I cant handle more than an episode or 2 at a time.

I think Seinfeld has more re-watch value. both are great. Curb Your Enthusiasm has a more modern feel.
