I took my mom to get her first dose today. I doubt I'll be able to get one for another several weeks, though.Congrats to her! If you dont mind me asking, do you know which tier youre in?

I get the second dose this upcoming Thursday. You wont get symptoms besides a painful arm for the first 8-12 hours. If anything happens, it will be after that. I got a terrible flu-like illness that lasted almost an entire day. It sucked.
Am a little nervous because people here and elsewhere have said that the second one is worse, and I have to drive an hour or more to get home so we'll see how that goes >_>.
I get the second dose this upcoming Thursday. One friend of mine said the arm pain was really awful, but AFAIK, everyone else I know who got both doses felt decent.

What was it like after your first shot?
So, I've had a lot of vaccines - typhoid, anthrax, flu every year, probably some other shit. I always just do some push-ups and work the muscles to ease the pain, usually don't have issues.Interesting, I wouldnt have expected the pain to spread like that. Ive gotten my first shot, and it didnt feel any different initially, but the arm soreness I felt for the rest of the day was definitely worse than any other vaccine Ive had. Not terrible, I didnt even feel like I needed to take painkillers, but there was a noticeable difference.
But this shot... Man I don't want to freak you out but the needle *feels* bigger than what they use for other vaccines, and even after doing some basic exercises and stuff it still felt like I got punched by the Rock lol. That pain only lasted half of a day though, wasn't too long term and of course only felt it when I was moving my arms and stuff.
I did experience some really weird muscle pain/soreness/cramping in my left leg - this started a few days after the vaccine and lasted for about two days. Felt like I had pulled a muscle or worked it out really hard or something. But people on reddit were saying they were feeling similar pain in other parts of their body beyond the shot area itself, too, so that also seems ... like a normal side effect.
@AdrianBeterson Thanks! Someone else said they were feeling some symptoms earlier than that. Guess there's always the shoulder of the 495 to lose breakfast on, absolute worst case scenario >_>

Im 27 so probably not for a few more months. I had covey before tho so I guess that means I only need one shot? Im not sureHuh, Ive never heard that before. I would definitely wanna double check, though.

That's the nanomachines installing the governments tracking and mind control software into you.lol if the government needed to install nanomachines in me they could have done it a million times already
I'm way at the end of the chain since I'm not currently employed.Oh I thought you weren't eligible since you are a crustacean...
Hell, I'm probably being way too generous with the several weeks estimate.

I apparently qualify in my state now, but there's not a single place I can find within like 50 miles that I can schedule it.It took me a while to find a place too. Just had to keep searching repeatedly until something came up. I hope youre able to find one!
Both doses of Moderna. I'm also a licensed immunizer so come see me.Congrats!

I'm surprised by how many people do not plan on getting a vaxie. Are that many people prone to reactions, or is it something else?
My dad just got his first dose yesterday. I'm not expecting to be able to get one until like summer time. He said he got tired from it and took a nap then woke up with a sore arm like flu shot. I've never gotten a flu shot so idk personally how that feels.Have your dad punch you in the arm.
