At any given time Hasbro and Takara have several different Transformers toy lines running. The current War For Cybertron line has three phases. The first is Siege which has the corresponding Netflix cartoon tie-in. This continues into the ongoing Earthrise line which is in stores now. The final phase is Kingdom which will incorporate other G1 characters like Huffer, Warpath, Cyclonus, and Galvatron, but it will also include Beast Wars. Throughout Earthrise they've released a few bots called Modulators. They can be taken apart and attach to other figures as armor and weapons. In Kingdom they're releasing something similar called Fossilizers.

Rhinox is coming out in a later wave. No pics of him yet. Dinobot and Inferno are the only S1 bots yet to be announced but I assume they're coming.

In some ways yes, but this will be the first line in over a decade to have several figures released at the same time, and a cartoon tie-in. Rhinox, Rattrap and Waspinator had new figures in 2014, and the Masterpiece line has had 7 BW figures and repaints released periodically since 2016. There was a new Blackarachnia in 2015 (released in Japan), and a new Optimal Optimus came out in 2018.

back when it was airing they didnt usually make action figures for girl characters
but the demand for a blackarachnia toy was so strong they had to give in and make one for her

IIRC airazor had a toy but it was intended to be a male toy because she wasnt in the show yet and hadnt been made a girl at that point. she was supposed to be a boy

I'm excited, but even still, feel they could do more with Kingdom.
Part of what I liked with original Beast Wars lines was how many different animals they did.

This is a nice start, but it's all characters they've randomly released as one-offs over the last decade or so in Generations, so eh, it's nothing new. The new fossil transformers are kinda neat though.

Ooh on a related note, TC, you follow Cyberverse at all? What an underrated cartoon. I just finished watching it this week, and in gonna chunk out Siege next week.

Airazor was male in the Japanese dub of the cartoon.

Man these are the same designs from 20 years ago. I owned the exact same optimis and megatron toys. Still...this is really cool lol

Favorite series as a kid

Definitely getting all the original cast beast wars toys. Have all the beast wars masterpieces except Megatron, he's so expensive.

Pretty hyped for them to be in the new series

He's planned, but no pictures yet. Every character shown in the artwork in the OP is getting released in the line.

Also noting the large robot in the middle. This is supposedly the Autobot's ship The Ark with a robot mode. It will be Titan class, nearly 2ft tall, and retails around $160 US ($240 Cdn)

Is the Netflix series worth watching? I liked the original and Beast Wars, but never saw many of the ones afterwards...
