Market price of that CPU and GPU is $1000+ alone.

For awhile now. It's much, much cheaper to buy a prebuilt from reputable sellers

The only issue I remember with Alienware was they had a tiny form factor so doing any upgrades was a bitch/impossible. That was the only downside but maybe that's changed.

If I was a pc enthusiast I'd still rather build one... Just more fun and personal, I'd customize it nicely.

The mainboards they use are absolute garbage too.
