Why do I have a cat fetish?

I legitimately wonder from a psychological perspective. I remember having these feelings as young as 4 or 5, although they've evolved over time.

I was taught it's bad to be cat growing up, but I was told that about lots of other things too. I don't have a crystal meth fetish for example. Why did this happen?
