Today, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced criminal charges against McClure, D'Amico and Bobbitt in the matter, including second degree theft by deception and conspiracy. Second degree crimes in New Jersey carry a potential sentence of 5-10 years in prison.

McClure and D'Amico turned themselves into Burlington County law enforcement on Wednesday. They have been released pending trial.

Courts records show that Bobbitt was arrested in Philadelphia on Wednesday evening on Burlington County charges. His bail was set at $50,000 and an extradition hearing is scheduled for November 27, 2018.

So they were scamming everybody online that contributed to the gofundme, I take it? Is the dude even homeless? Give them all 20 years. Plenty of time to let them think about what they did.

Yeah he was homeless, but they knew each other for at least a month before they came up with the $20 for gas story.

there's some good to come out of this. everyone who backed money into these criminal thieves will get refunded. though for them i just hope they give the maximum allowable sentence possible and pay back restitution for the full amount when/if they get out.

i know they won't be able to pay it back. it's the punishment i would like to see.
