Velociraptors are still terrifying though. Apparently they dug their talons into prey while flapping their wings to stay above their target.

it's all bullshit. The Trex was likely more like the jurassic park version
While it's still scary as fuck, definitely lost the cool factor.
It's kinda cute looking now.

Who's to say what modern science thinks a t-Rex looked like is even true? I'm pretty sure it's all hogwash and they're just pulling the whole small and feathery thing out of their ass.
Just a birb doing birb things

The other T. Rex however, has been largely unaffected by advances in science.

I was really tempted to make a reference to this T. Rex instead. Glad someone else took care of it.

Scientists aren't infallible. Maybe decades from now they'll find out they were wrong about dinosaurs having feathers after all.
What the goodness?!
True story is that scientists arent able to accurately discern their color. Im sure they were earth tones to blend in while hunting, but it would be cool if they were Yoshi colors.
Stand for the anthem or sit for the game!
Id laugh at that thing as I run away from being eaten, it lost its scary factor.

Unicorns might be real and we might find out gravity doesn't really exist. That isn't what we know now or can even hypothesize though, so who gives a damn?

There's literally actual proof dinosaurs had feathers, we're not going to find out anything different "decades" from now.

I mean shit the idea that dinosaurs could have had feathers has been around since the 1860s/1870s.

Those were probably just actual birds. And when I say actual birds, I mean with beaks and shit.

The idea that T-rex had feathers is bogus

Feathers and scales are almost the same shit.

Don't be like those kids who get mad because the release ruined their fan fiction.
I love how "T.rex had lips on the side of its mouth" equates to "T.rex's mouth was a giant set of side lips with a couple of teeth in the middle." Come on, reptiles in the modern world don't big mammalian lips which encompass 60% of their mouths. Nor do birds.
I think they're deliberately fucking with the image of the T.rex.

They want it to be more like some sort of majestic emu than a deadly carnivore. I don't believe for a second that tyrannosaurus looked anything remotely similar to that and that's even granting the possibility that it might've had feathers.
This is why theyre cutting our funding.

While this is abolutely possible, it's interesting that people can distrust Mr Scientist for his new way of seeing things, but still completely trust his old perception.

So a T. Rex is suddenly not cool or scary anymore because it had feathers.

You guys get upset over the dumbest things.
