I could understand not knowing any better if you're stuck in a backwards culture using non-flat bread for sandwiches and had no exposure to the superior format, but the internet exists now, so there's no excuse. Flat bread is much more portable, lasts longer, and doesn't have to be sliced. I've switched almost exclusively to pitas and tortillas. There's this one kind of tortilla I use that has no sugar and tons of fiber, but stays together well thanks to extra gluten (fuck off gluten haters).
