Is it bad I don't want to hang with my girlfriend on New Year's Eve?

I would find a new boyfriend tbh,...can't you talk to her about her getting drunk? I mean New years is a date night thing. Maybe if she is with her girlfriends she'll meet someone new to bring the new year in with.
