Would you volunteer to give up your airline seat because they overbooked?

Depends entirely what I am flying for. If it's something important, like a job or visiting a sick relative, no. If it's something mundane and my plans can easily be changed, sure, though I'd probably expect some sort of compensation for my inconvenience.
