They are honestly just better, they improve on standard fireworks in basically every way and really have unlimited potential. They are 3D art shows in the air

Are they less noisy? Those look so neat. I can't stand fire works here on New Years due to the loudness. The 3D cat and Jelly fish look so neat TBH.

I saw a simple one at a sports game, yes they are less noisy. They moved a logo around in 3D space and it was cool but nothing like this

The fireworks were literally just explosions in the air compared to the drone show though.
Four bells were tolled, Four torches were lit
And the world continued for thousands of years...

That's great. I'd like fire works more if they weren't so damn noisy... which why I sleep early on New Years.

Both have their positives. Both have their negatives. Neither is inherently better than the other.

It's the same for laser light shows. They are cool in their own way, but that doesn't mean they always trump fireworks.

I haven't been impressed by fireworks since I was 10. The only fun thing about fireworks is launching em yourself and running away from them as fast as possible
So I was standing still at a stationary store...

are there studies showing that drone shows are less damaging to the environment than fireworks shows?

With fire works , pets panic, birds die, and the surrounding ash gets covered in ash/debris With Drone I can imagine flying creatures of the night still getting harmed, but not as much as fireworks .
