Since we were in that area last night we decided to check out the store and sure enough they were on the shelves available to purchase for RRP
I remember seeing a video of a fan asking Renee Rapp to sign a labubu. The fan is talking about how Renee loves the labubu while Renee grouses, "I hate it, this is like, so ugly to me".
It was pretty funny I get Renee content because I'm a Towa Bird fan.

2025 Beanie Babies.

Is it really though? It never felt like a real full-on fad, the way Beanie Babies were, or Furbies, or even stuff like Baby Yoda or Elmo. It seems way less ubiquitous, and when it does show up it always feels a bit more astroturfed than organic.

Then again, I avoid TikTok and its culture like the plague, so maybe it was more prevalent there. But in that case, I also don't care.

At least Beanie Babies were cute.

I see them frequently around in trendy shops and whatnot. I know more than a few regular people with Labubus
I just hope they don't gain sentience like the Furbies.
