have
to admit you're kind of right because all I can find for western visual novels are really abstract experimental games and I can't actually find anything else that interests me. Scarlet Hollow really is one of a kind, just a straightforward visual novel.
I feel the same way towards anime as I do towards this, I like them as long as they're not otaku weeb pandering games, I really get nothing from an anime/story about a bunch of cute girls that's supposed to make me feel happy or something. It's like the female version of twilight. I like a story that can stand on its own without my crippling loneliness playing a factor.
