I had a BB gun in my closet
I had a BB gun in my closetI have a toy crossbow that shoots suction cup darts, and a blowgun for the same darts.
not packing anything, I despise weapons
The 2.7mm kolibri
I'm not packing anything worth talking about....
The most I have right now is a single shot Nerf pistol

IIRC you both live in countries that restrict your right to own a firearm, so that's not surprising.
I'm unarmed and quite thankful that virtually everybody around me is also as a matter of law.
Probably not the topic for you thenWith the fact that the most common response in here is some kind of toy or people that are unarmed, it's starting to feel like this might not be the board for this topic.
I don't need an emotional support weaponRight? I outgrew sharpening sticks and sticking sharp things on the ends of plunger handles when I was eight. Guns are just a furtherance of the same kind of thing. Besides, if you're ever in the kind of situation where you'd be justified in using a gun to defend yourself, odds are you're already in someone else's sites and reaching for it would just get your skull perforated before you could even reach the trigger, let alone aim the thing. Guns are worthless for self defense, only good for offense or defending others when the assailant isn't paying attention to you.

Also, unarmed for me.
I mean, I can understand coming to a topic about guns to make jokes about guns. Topic ended up a lot more humorous that I thought it would be, and that's nice.
I don't understand coming to a topic about guns to talk about how much you don't like guns.
I'm not going to engage or debate on the politics of gun ownership or the right to bear arms. Youre welcome to have that discussion of course, but I have no intention of being involved, so maybe you could do it elsewhere since its really not at all the intent of this topic.
For many people on both sides of the argument, the right to have access to firearms (or not) is an issue that they feel strongly about. If the topic comes up, its not crazy to expect them to voice those feelings.
Not that long ago, injecting a political discussion into a topic that is only tangentially related would surely have been considered annoying, if not crazy, but the times they do be changing.
Like I said, I'm certainly not going to stop anyone from talking about it but its not as though you are going to change anyones mind and I'm also not going to engage with it since it is off topic.
Its like if someone asked "Whats your favorite soup?" Only to have half a dozen people chime in about how much they hate soup, and so nobody needs to or should eat soup and how your ingredients arent ethically sourced and blah blah blah
Like, homie, I just wanted to hear what types of soup people like.
Except people owning soup results in a lot less tragic but avoidable deaths. Thats a pretty important distinction.so... chainsaws then?

But yes, I agree that nobody will be swayed one way or the other with a topic like this.
just like having a gun rights debate in this topic....how come nobody ever wants to talk about gun lefts?

I can only imagine how annoying it must be for the ejection port on most guns to point at the side that you are firing from. It's got to be extra-super annoying for a bolt-action.
It's got to be extra-super annoying for a bolt-action.
PLUS id be standing on the ejection side eating empty shells every time I pull the trigger.so yeah, revolver.
so... chainsaws then?Battery-powered chainsaws are AWESOME. Push button start, release the trigger and it turns off off, minimal noise, no carburetors, no spark plugs, no gas/oil mixture, no tuneups, no exhaust.
I got a couple electric chainsaws that are pretty nice. ...and a polesaw attachment for a weedeater that doesn't run too great.
Guns are stupida gun is only as stupid or smart as the person holding it.
Springfield Armory .45acp
Mossberg 12ga
Savage .22lr
DPMS .308
Also have an ar-15 as a result of loaning out some money, but I should probably just consider it mine at this point and forget the money.
I've been wanting to get a Kriss Vector in .45acp lately too.
so yeah, revolver.
you'll have to swap hands to reload, and the safety is probably going to be awkward, but that's about it.
You know I keep that thang on me.clearly, we need to do something about dangerous assault kittens.
