Good action anime is pretty much non existent for me. Give me political intrigue or slice of life stuff any day. Ascension of a bookworm was pretty good. A librarian gets reborn into a world where everything is still handwritten on parchment and needs to invent paper and the printing press to get her books back which causes disagreement with the merchant guild in charge of selling parchment.
365 days to the wedding was pretty cute too. A travel company wants to open a new location in Alaska but dont want to send whole families just a single person, so two people decide to fake an engagement to avoid being shipped off to a different country. Its romantic but not sexual.
if you did want to try something more shonen like the wrong way to use healing magic was interesting. The main character isnt the hero summoned from another land, hes just a guy who happened to fall into the portal with the hero. He doesnt get awesome powers or incredible stats or awesome weapons. He just has a basic heal spell, but a bat shit crazy general believes healing is the ultimate weapon because you train, heal the muscles instantly and train some more on repeat forever because you will keep getting stronger as you do it. I thought it was a cool twist anyway.
but cartoons are in a much better position than anime is these days.
I am awesome and so are you.
Lenny gone but not forgotten.
