If you hear them running and the system doesn't end up obviously overheating (like shutting itself off, not just feeling warm), they're fine. If you don't and/or it does, they broke.
There's a non-zero chance that the fall may have jiggled a fan or something such that it'll wear out a bit faster, but there's no way to identify that now and you won't be able to do anything to fix it anyway. All you can really do is keep using it normally. If it fails, get it repaired. If it doesn't fail, don't. You have nothing to gain from worrying about that potential future now.

Well, twice my Switch Lite has had the same error code 2701-0001 where it shut off in sleep mode while plugged in and recently too the second time. Was told on Reddit by a user that it's likely a hiccup with the wi-fi because they have something similar going on. Happened with regular Switch as well but that had gotten a charge, then was on wi-fi in its case. So I make sure to put airplane mode on now or shut them off.
Think the 2nd time was the 25th I had it plugged in and at 2 in the morning it happened, Went to use it around 10 AM and 'thought' it felt hot but it was a hot day so could have imagined it and it was powered off that second time with the same error code. I was told there was no way by another Reddit user that it could remain hot all that time while being powered off from the error code shut down while in sleep mode.
When you look up that error code it's not in Nintendo's data and AI gives different results every time, do you think like that first user said that it's the wi-fi thing? The first time it happened early last month we did get a new router shortly before. Makes me worried about plugging it in now.

Recommend some anime, preferably completed series or in the least, series that feel like they ended well.
