Don't hold your breath.
The Middle East is going to hell with Iran and Israel firing missiles at each other and theres the whole Gaza situation
Forget America, the whole world is going to hell. The Middle East is going to hell with Iran and Israel firing missiles at each other and theres the whole Gaza situation. Shockingly, North Korea has been very quiet.Literally anytime anything happens anywhere in the world this is world war 3. Ill believe it when I see it.

Social media exists to keep you on social media. Getting *more* information doesn't actually change anything, just shows you more.False.

As an America, I don't know and I'm scared. I really want to leave someday. One of my fears is never being able to.
It was just lunatics congregating in various cities attempting to make a point that was already taken care of in 1776. A complete waste of time.

Really shitty they haven't bothered updating the message board rules to include this announcement.
we should start over and do New AmericaLike a casino
this time soda is free
That doesn't suggest any political discussion is against the rules, to my eyes. It just says they closed boards entirely dedicated to it, because of frequent abusive language
Furthermore, while we understand the passion surrounding political discussions, we believe it is essential to maintain a focus on gaming-related content. As such, we are implementing a measure to turn the Current Events private. Every user who has visited GameFAQs in the last year and who currently has access to the board will retain access to the board. No additional users will be allowed to view or post on the board going forward. Additionally, any user who is placed in Purgatory (which is always an administrator/staff decision) will permanently lose access to the board. Additionally, political topics outside of CE will be banned.

I wonder why that can't be copy/pasted into the user content rules with a clear definition of what constitutes political topics.
Because there is no clear definition of what constitutes political topics. Any attempts they've made to provide direction have been plagued by mixed messaging and immediately fell apart under light scrutiny because grey areas are everywhere.
Depending on how you want to approach it, almost anything can be considered "politics," or almost nothing can, or anywhere between those extremes. Fandom's come at this with a vague "maybe people don't like that people are talking about politics instead of video games and that's why nobody new is joining the community," and that vagueness has carried into the policy and its enforcement.
It seems like this difficult to define rule that hasn't been added to the user content rules could easily be abused.
GameFAQs into something with any real commercial value.

World War 3 is imminent.Started 3 years ago.
India is more likely to go to war with Pakistan. They both have about 170-180 nukes each, so it'll get ugly fast.
All that's left is India to attack China. Which I almost expect they will.

Hard to believe people forget but it's already the entire West and the EU vs Russia and it's proxies and China and Iran and North Korea right now.
The fact that Isreal decided to attack Iran in the back while they were busy helping Russia is relatively minor at the scale this was already happening at.

And as per usual, America is late to the war again

They should just abolish parties completely in America. That way voters have to actually vote for a candidate based on their policies, not their party.America has an issue that it has stopped progressing and has gone from a good example of democracy to a bad example. Many other democracies function a lot better. America even helped set up many of them. The lessons just never make it home.
does being this delusional hurt
How does everyone not realise having a god king president is a bad thing?
We have one party who is currently burning stuff and calling it peaceful
is China going to invade Taiwan and start WW3 this year or not?
I have no delusion. I have no political party. I wouldn't vote for any of the available people. Your just trapped in the my side good your side bad mentality, when both sides are good and bad at different times and both are wrong in their extremes... Hence why it's "extreme".Enlightened, smug defeatism is such a charming ideology for the avant-garde 17 year old, but I reckon youre a bit too old for this type of silliness. For someone who claims to be above the falsehoods perpetuated by American political actors, you parrot quite an impressive amount of propaganda.
We have one party who is currently burning stuff and calling it peaceful and its mostly in liberal areas. That's just a fact. Last month we burned Tesla's this month just what ever car's around (and last I checked, burning cars is bad for the environment), they did it for like a year or more last time Trump was president. And it only seems to happen when something rich people don't like is also being done. It's just an observation. If republicans did anything I'd mock them but they don't do anything. They just whine and complain and refuse to fix or address any actual issue. But that seems universal for our goverment at this point.
I know plenty of extreme republican's and they are the same as extreme liberals. Unable to ever except the other side is right sometimes and they are wrong sometimes. You can't talk to them or disagree on any thing or your evil. And that's not how a nation continues to exist.
The delusion is thinking being told to be a human shield is normal (especially in a peaceful protest? shielding who from what?). The little bit of the "peaceful protests" that I actually even saw, that was the best bit. I didn't really have time to see much of it and honestly I know it doesn't matter. They burned a few things in their own town (ie just hurt other average Americans just trying to survive, imagine them burning your car and you don't even like Trump), and cost a lot of taxpayer dollars to keep police and military out in the field.. and nothing will change. Whatever the goverment wants to do.. It'll still do it.
---
As for what's happening in America, it's basically.. We have two parties. One party ran on a platform, the other ran on "I'm not that other guy". Then right near the end the other party decided to dump there elected runner and install someone who wasn't elected - and the majority of the people picked the party with a platform, because they were tired of 4 years of not having one (and maybe didn't want an unelected president). And now the minority of people who aren't happy with the selected agenda, are protesting that predictably. And the goverment that doesn't want to do that agenda is doing what it can to slow it down for the 4 years it needs to (which is probably about 90% of it), along with a good chunk of the media that's openly bias one way.
Check back in a few weeks and they'll be doing something else, and it won't change anything then either. Or look in to world events that actually matter, like is China going to invade Taiwan and start WW3 this year or not? Or are we just going to let them have it? Is Iran going to get a Nuclear weapon? (well that answer is kind of underway atm). Will Russia survive its botched invasion of Ukraine? All three are far more interesting to think about or look at. This also won't matter (because you can't change it) but at lest its actual history someone will remember in the future. You could also just focus on your own life, and how to get to a comfortable place in it and be content in it, and not let the world's issues weigh you down.
big wall of rightwing propaganda
Caprontos definitely watches Fox News lol and then acts like he isnt choosing a side
Taking a page from the Zeus playbook it would seem
