what broke on the s21, the update didn't break anything on mineThe text to speech was the big thing. Not only did it remove the Samsung voice engine from working on anything other than bixby, it has also started to cause even the google voice engine (horrible options, I tried to buy a better one and while the voice was better it had the same problems the google engine did.) to start to pronounce words wrong and even just spelling out random words instead of reading them. Besides that the change to the navigation buttons has them blocking the menu or various options in some of my apps as the navigation buttons are always there and always on top.
Pixel + clicks
Whenever my phone dies I'll just buy whatever new Pixel phone that costs in the $200-$300 range.Pixel is the other one I'm considering. It's definitely cheaper than the iphone and the android os is more what I'm used to. If the iphone didn't have a USB c charger I'd grab the pixel without a second thought, but since I won't have to buy all new charging cords anymore I'm more open to giving it a try.
The only big difference is that iphones have better cameras.
Just get a Samsung.Samsungs generally have extremely good cameras, especially on the S series phones.

Lol, forgot to finish my thought. The difference between the cameras is negligible, certainly to the average person, and you could only really tell if you took the same picture with both cameras and had them up side by side, and even then, there isn't much in it. Unless, of course, you're really into photography, but for people who are bothered about it that much, I would think they would opt for a dedicated camera instead.
From what I understand, the difference between the Google Pixels & iPhones
There seem to be a bunch of green text bubbles in here that dislike iPhones. I've never had issues with mine. Battery life eventually diminishes, but not until after 4+ years of use does that seem to be an issue for me.
That said, I would have had something Android most likely if my family hadn't all converted to iPhone years ago. I was anti-Apple for the most part. Like I had a Zune instead of an iPod.

It would be too late for me to switch to Android. Also Zune was better because it didn't convert your music to something only an iPod could play.Zune was better, but I don't have a ZunePhone in my pocket.

My current Samsung A15, bought last December for 182 EUR, came in as the previous was stuck on an Android version that had been unsupported for a while and I started running into apps I wanted but could no longer run. This one's an Android 14, so I should be good for a while, my use case demanding nothing more powerful. Assuming no trouble it should be withy me until, at the least, Android 14 goes unsupported. That's presumably not around the corner. The way Android deletes apps from stores now if they don't get updates kind of makes me hate them again. Don't buy any apps on android, if it stops being updated, in a few years it disappears.

what does amazon got to do with androidPretty sure my new phone auto corrected that weirdly but you know what the point I was making and that it is valid for every app store.
