i have so much free time that i have a bookmark for google keep for notes to remind myself of what productive things i can do every time there's nothing more to do
As someone that can't wfh at their job, I wish as many people that could feasibly do wfh were allowed to do it.

Work from home days are the only days I like having to work.
Life's what you make it, so let's make it rock
Exact opposite experience. I barely have free time anymore. Boss slacking me on Sunday with customer questions, SE constantly asking me to add features to the product bypassing my boss, working 12+ hour days being the norm. If you want to quiet quit you won't have long term job security.

We're interviewing right now and everyone who we've interviewed is just awful. No real programming experience. Can't talk to anything they've done at other companies, lots of "managing" on resumes. Basically a lot of fakers.
THE opinionated king.
Had to go back to office, too many naps, hardly did any work, neighbors were too noisy, boss was big mad all the time.
You aren't even really reading my posts; you're just staring at your e-mail client and fondly reminiscing about that hobo you stabbed to death. :P
I really didn't like WFH during 2020, but my job was one that was pretty social to begin with. Depending on what the position was, I'm sure I could learn to fully enjoy it. The highlight for me was definitely removing commuting time and being able to do small chores throughout the day.

Just play a game or something? It's not like they would know.

I work from home but in a call center so our time is constantly being monitored. If I'm not available for calls it counts against my stats. With that being said I do get to spend time on my phone, or reading, or eating, or doing some extra workout stuff prior to the gym after work. So it's kinda nice but my job is also annoying. I'd love my job if they just paid me and I didn't have to do it
BADoglick to the Max!
I love working from home. I answer some emails, do a bit of work, then do my own for 3-5 hours before coming back and answering a few more emails. I have to make sure Im in meetings but I never speak during them. 10/10 would recommend

Worked fine for me. As long as I physically put away the work laptop out of sight I could switch off work mode.

I work from home around 50%-66% of the time. Provincial government. I find it funny when other people say they'd be less efficient at home when I see people fucking the dog in-office constantly. Yeah - I'm getting some 'home' stuff done like tidying, laundry etc but I'm not just kicking back to waste half the day and not be available for work - I don't bother trying to play games, watch movies, crap like that that other people seem to do. I go into work generally because I have to get things physically configured and shipped. It is somewhat annoying when people opt for fully work-at-home and delegate stuff like that to others. I think a balance is the most beneficial thing.

Right now they're kinda making it a one-or-the-other type thing, which is also annoying. They're removing permanent workspaces at our offices for anyone that doesn't come in full-time - it'll be a drop-in office space. But the fully in-office people are also getting their physical spaces changed and being given (I'm told) worse furniture. At that point, it's de-incentivizing both since the fully in-office folks are getting a downgrade and you also get a major in-office downgrade if you've been on a 3 days in-office and 2 WFH schedule. That's meant that a lot of people like that are just going to sign up to WFH more.

Even though its not an option for me in my current position, I fully support peoples ability to do it. That being said, Im not sure it would be for me, as least full time. I enjoy the social aspect of work and its a great way to meet people. For my siblings who are married and have kids, it works out great. However, being currently single, I feel it would be isolating. My non-work friends and I can only get together on occasion.
