They also had a
TON
of Department of Environmental Protection violations. Including things like raw sewage leaking into the drinking water. A friend of mine works for the DEP and he said they'd wind up having to go there every few months to try and harass the owner into fixing things, but he'd just shrug and pay the fine because it was cheaper for him to do that than to actually fix the issues.
It got so bad at one point they weren't legally allowed to serve drinks at the concession stand with ice in them, because they couldn't legally use the contaminated water in the ice machines.
Now think about what that says about the theoretical cleanliness of the water rides.
