I do drink soda in moderation, though sugarless. This doesn't mean that there's no assault on your teeth at all, as it is still acidic, with artificial sweeteners to counter that. I don't take much stock in all the evils prescribed to artificial sweeteners, but there's no denying that the end result is still not exactly a health drink.
Sugarless soda is actually even worse for you because of the artificial sweetener they replace the sugar, particularly aspartame. If anything, finding soda with sugar but without high fructose corn syrup is better for you. That still doesn't take into account the acidity and preservatives, but at least sugar is just sugar...even if there's a lot of it.
