Heard Berlins public transit is overpriced. Some musicians I know sought asylum there then decided it was not worthwhile.

the clothes probably is tho.

The transport was really cheap last time I was there. Granted, that was several years ago.
Been a while since I was in Germany. It was this century, but that's about all I can say. Shorter trip, though, we border on them. Have been part of them as recently as World War 2, too!

I've been a couple times but not to any of the major major cities, just a smaller city. Restaurants nearby all had pretty good food. And the beer was phenomenal. Everybody over there drinks beer. They just get tall glasses of it at lunch and everything.
Yeah, drinking beer as just a beverage instead of for the intoxicating effect is much more normalized over there. I mean ppl do drink to get drunk over there, they can just they can drink to not get drunk also.

Yeah, non alcoholic beer has really increased in popularity in the recent past. The Heineken 0.0's are pretty good. (Dutch, not German, but very close by.)

I was never much a Heineken fan myself. The old joke is we export that so we can drink the real beer, but I don't drink much beer to begin with. I favor Hertog Jan when I do.

My first visits were on family vacations, indeed before west and east reunited in 1990. I've never been in the territory that used to be East Germany, or in the capital Berlin that is in that area.

So, I guess the plan is the 5th to the 15th. I hadnt wanted to go for so short, but my mom wants to go and offered to pay for my ticket. So, this way, Ill be able to go again in May, hypothetically, with the money I will save.
