When AI gets really good at pictures and video? It probably would either be exploited to frame people or it won't be considered evidence at all anymore.

And worse when other countries do it to justify war and if you know anything about history that's already happened for way less.

If, or rather when, it gets to the point of it being indistinguishable I'd sooner expect it to not be considered valid evidence anymore than a slew of successful framing jobs. We're already at the point where I distrust what I see automatically, personally, knowing that I'd likely miss clear signs of forgery.

Its an issue which needs to be addressed, but not something i'm personally worried about.

I'm less worried about falsified evidence leading to false convictions than I am about the fact that photos, videos, and audio recordings are going to have to stop being accepted as evidence because it'll be too easy to fabricate them. That's going to be a pretty significant problem.
