Ill get a Soylent from the store every couple of months, but nothing else. I was thinking about getting some Schmilk if they still sell it.

I had a subscription for Soylent a few years ago. I eventually got sick of the flavors and after taste it left in my mouth. I hung in there for about 6 months.

I didn't know you could just buy it from a store.

My friend had a Huel subscription and it really did work. Then he gained all the weight back and went with Soylent. Also worked, but you know, high stress work environments are a bitch...
what are they best used for? :)

Id use Huel if it was available here. Its been a useful tool in the past.

Really? Has it gone up a lot in price? Because I dont remember it being crazy expensive when I did it before.
I haven't seen it in stores, but online it's more than $50.00 for a 12 pack

That sounds about right for something that you're replacing meals with. If you're drinking three a day, that comes out to just over ten dollars a day.

Still expensive.

Not at the moment, but I used to use Plenny, which is basically the European version of Soylent. They even used to be called Joylent before they changed the name (presumably for legal reasons). I liked the variety of flavours, and they also do bars, but I haven't had any for years.

I kept seeing Huel being promoted by thousands of Japanese Vtubers for like 7 months straight last year and it was everywhere to the point that when I saw it, I'd have to watch someone else that day if I saw the promotions or until they had anything else streaming instead. I've tried it, it's quite mid and it's pricey as hell.

Dear god, it has become more expensive than it was last year.

A 12 pack? It used to be two massive bags when I did it.
They probably still have a powdered version online.

Back when I used it, it wasnt available in stores. Youd just order big bags of the powder online. But even thats not possible here.
It's $40 for one bag apparently.

I live in one of the cheapest countries in the world and even I would struggle to get a meal for 40 cents.

A beer, maybe. A meal, no.

I used to drink these all the time and DAMN were they good. I'm sure my mom loved not having to make me food because I could slam one of these instead.

In hindsight, the product's interesting because the premise of milk is to be a 100% nutritionally complete meal (...for a cow, at least). Seems redundant to have to add something to milk to make it a "meal" when it already is one.

I should get some of these packets and revisit the good ol' childhood stomping grounds
Carnation instant breakfast has a lot more sugar than Soylent and the like.
