Yup, i remember wireless mice required a plugged in sensor to be on the desk and in range of the mouse to work. Also, this desk is disgusting.

All that liquid being the same color tells me that's definitely not powerade, also all of them filled to the top with no lids. I get being a slob stems from mental unwellness, but that just makes me angry.

At least put the cigarettes in an old can for Christ's sake.

Even if it's overdone, those depression nest photos always fascinate me and make me feel better about myself. I understand being unmotivated and not wanting to for example move stuff around to dust the furniture as often as I should, but I wonder what the state of mind is like where you can't take two seconds to throw out a piece of trash

Also I've been moving furniture so my desk isn't set up right now which is my excuse for not posting it

I would imagine, and from personal issues with procrastination in other aspects, you let the mess pile up and it becomes more and more daunting to approach. And when you get used to living in filth, there's really no motivation to change.

Also, this is not far off from my parents and it is the most frustrating thing.

This is what I always wonder about people who let random trash pile up in their car. Even if your car is pretty badly loaded up with trash, it would literally just take a few minutes of your time at the local gas station to throw out all the junk and move on with your life

Sure maybe if it's like 200 cans, but I just can't imagine getting to 5 cans and not thinking "I better not let this get any worse". Not to mention the people who have food that's straight up rotting/attracting pests

My setup is an old wooden desk that's all dinged up and a second monitor that's not plugged in because I use Linux and that shit is the world's buggiest trash (still better than windows)

My PC is on top of my desk because I've destroyed 2 MBs from spilled drinks.

Man ain't this the truth, when they first started talking about ending Windows 10 is when I started evaluating Linux on my daily driver, and the second monitor would just arbitrarily stop working all the time

But I'm back to Windows cause I can't deal with one screen anymore (and some other Linux deficiencies), just going to have to suck it up when they force me on to 11

My "desk" is a square-shaped black foldable table. My laptop and mouse sit left-justified on the front side of it and my printer and mini shelf sit in the back left and back right, respectively.
