the orville is really good so far

it's hilarious but seems to take itself just seriously enough that it's not annoying.

I wish they made more of it.

Season 3 is paywalled behind a service I don't use, but the first two seasons were great.

The reviews I've heard of it usually describe it as, in spite of essentially being a comedic parody of Star Trek, it's better Star Trek than any of the actual Star Trek made in the last 25 or so years.

Presumably if you like Star Trek (specifically TOS, TNG, DS9, and maybe Voyager), you'll enjoy it.

gotta love streaming. can't even get a series on a single service and companies wanna complain about pirating.

episode 3 fucked me up a little. why'd they have to be all real with it at the end? ._.

To be fair to them, the only reason they got a season three at all is because Hulu fronted the cash for it. So it does make sense that they'd want to get their money's worth by forcing you to pay them to see it.

That being said, fuck streaming as a whole. Everyone bought into the magical hopes and dreams of a streaming future and basically killed cable in the process. Now all we really have is shit cable AND shit streaming. And all you bastards basically crippled the DVD market in the process as well, for which I shall never forgive you.

Hard to say. Some people involved have implied that it is, or that they don't want to do anymore. But some have implied that it's not done yet and that they're going to be filming more this year. So it's sort of Schrodinger's TV Show at the moment.

well, that sucks for different reasons. at least i still have most of 3 seasons to go through freshly. i really like macfarlane when he's not stuck doing family guy junk.

and don't look at me for the DVD thing, i buy physical media whenever i can. must fight the dystopian future in whatever tiny way possible.

i miss norm ._.

There will be a season 4.
It's a great show, and a damn shame it takes years to get a renewal each time.
Season 3 never even had a physical release. I'm still waiting for it.
