Pororin has frustratingly prohibited the export of bins which is where I keep all my STUFF I want to trade.

Forgotten beast broke into the fort, unfortunately papercup got caught with his pants down and in an attempt to ambush the forgotten beast they are now trapped outside by a burning wall of fire.

Alright, thankfully no named PotDer Dwarfs were killed in the attack, for some reason papercup's army had the order to attack by wouldn't move. 13 dwarfs ended up dying perishing in the flames.

Little updates

Bimmy II spends most of his time in the library now-a-days. It seems Bimmy II didn't take to joining the engravers guild but they have supplied most of the stone crafts to the fortress.
Delta and meundies spend most of their time in their respective shops. Both of them have statues of themselves outside of their stores. While Delta is overwhelmed with armor and weapon orders, meundies is taking it easy having easily supplied the whole fortress with fine meals.
Nogrim is now my gem setter and receives high quality furniture to stud with gems, so usually spends time at the temple since his job isn't high in demand.
Nade is doing particularly well as the tavern keeper, their mood is really high from watching performers dance all day. No fights have started in his tavern.
OneEyedShinobi and papercup were both slain by a particularly powerful forgotten beast. Despite being the year 512 we're still in the age of legends. We're actually up to papercup III who currently has a maimed left hand from a ceiling collapse.
Pororin used to be my mayor but got ousted by an extremely charismatic necromancer. They now make soap for the hospital.

yea, the OG papercup's entire squad was wiped out by a web shooting forgotten beast that caught everyone out in the open. Thankfully though two other brave dwarfs were able to take it down after it was already weakened.

papercup II didn't last very long at all, a forgotten beast ambushed the fortress and half of papercup II's squad were 100 z-levels up in the surface so he had to fight with only one other dwarf.

papercup III now has a fortified bunker in the caverns where he trains with his squad with food and temples close by, but while I was building it the roof collapsed and maimed his hand and it is no longer usable.

Name one Kalgar Bulbaast in my honor.

wwinterj25 is now my new dungeon keeper.. though we dont' have anyone in our dungeon so we might try to catch some cave dwellers.

Kalgar Bulbaast came in at a good time as my fortress got upgraded to a Barony, so Kalgar is necromancer baron.

Unfortunately OneEyed and papercup got cut down again by a forgotten beast that slayed two whole dwarf squads. We're up to papercup IV and OneEyedShinobi III.

So, we're the capital. Working on becoming the mountainhome since I'm running out of things to do. We're currently filling in a moat which surrounds the farming, clothing and tavern districts which was the latest mega project so nothing much else left. We'll keep digging for the 7 symbols to become the mountainhome and risk demonic invasion.

Bimmy II is our legendary stone carver, basically fulfills any stone order. Bimmy II has created several artifacts for Amusedkeys.
DeltaBladeX unfortunately hasn't gotten many stories. He was mostly relegated to being the forts armorsmith/weaponsmith and outfitted multiple dorfs, but didn't form many relationships due to being down at the magma sea. Just praying to Melbil and fulfilling work orders from Pororin for copper helms.
Kalgar Bulbaast is the forts necromancer duchess, elected mayor and broker. Without the need to eat or sleep they have been extremely effective in their job and spends most of their time consoling various citizens between praying to Akast and Vucar, so much that the fort provided them with personal shrines.
Nade Duck unfortunately died in some kind of freak accident that took out 30 other dorfs. I couldnt' figure out exactly what happened, but I think one of the visitors went rogue and caused a mass death. At that time though we just became the capital when the Queen moved in, so Nade Duck II became the new Queen. Since Kalgar does most of the day to day work though Nade spends most of their time hauling stuff or drinking.
Pororin since they got voted out of being the mayor became the hammerer and since then has dispensed justice to many citizens who thought they could get away with stealing from Amusedkeys.
wwinterj25 spends most of their time free since as the dungeon master we don't have that much crime. However when necessary he is very effective in interviewing and interrogating potential suspects. Usually always get the culprit.
meundies spends all their time cooking, I didn't realise how busy they'd be that unfortunately they haven't had time to find love. I might recruit them into a squad with no barracks so meundies can spend more time in the tavern socializing.
OneEyedShinobi and papercup I don't even know what numbers we're up to also perished in many attacks. papercup IV died in the same event that took out Nade Duck and OneEyedShinobi bravely tried to take on 171 goblins by themselves which worked for a bit but eventually he got too tired and was taken down.
