How do studios keep thinking a live action anime adaptation is going to be profitable? I mean, Alita Battle Angel was good, even if Alita looked creepy as hell. But they ain't James Cameron.

It's really sad that executives feel the need to take what worked in animated form and bastardise it.

They seem to be on a roll with making unwanted live-action versions of popular shonen manga, and of course they (not even just Disney, either) have been doing this shit to western cartoons since at least the 90s.

the cowboy bebop one pissed me off the most

how do you tell less story in a 45 minute runtime, than a 22 minute episode

i don't understand why they changed what they did, it's fucking stupid. you don't need to change literally anything! the screenplay is already written for you, you can just watch it, then do that but in person.
