Is it supposed to be Lou Men Ess? Because that's how I used to pronounce it.

I remember playing it a ton for a period of time causing me to dream of falling blocks.

I once convinced a bunch of people that the reason it was pronounced "jif" despite the G standing for "graphics" was because the first one created was adapted from a short video clip of a giraffe and the creator liked the punny portmanteau of "giraffics." I then told them I'd made the whole thing up because actually spreading misinformation is bad, but they'd 100% bought it until then and I was very proud of my bullshitting skills.

Yeah but Scuba has the has the "ba" after the "u" which changes it to a long vowel in pronunciation, there is no reason for a soft g in gif, do you say gift with a soft g too?
