Never the processed singles wrapped in plastic ...omg I pray nobody votes for those.
That processed cheese is generally the same thing as the "premium" cheese aside from things like using powdered milk.
On that note, American cheese is a freak cheese unlike any other, it's a mix of several cheeses diluted by milk, not to say it's bad or anything. If you only use American, try colby jack, mozzerella, or gouda on your next sandwich for a comparable taste.
I work in a deli but am in no way seriously educated on the subject, so I may have the "off my fucking rocker overconfident" nurse effect.

Between swiss and cheddar
Cheddar is alright, swiss is kind of filler cheese that has no real flavor, 6/10 stringy when melted, and maybe you don't want any additional taste.

Pepper Jack and Provolone are the only cheeses I ever get on my sandwiches.
Pepperjack is alright if you buy the high quality brand. If you can't taste the jalepeno peppers then throw it out.
Provolone is stinky ass crack satan cheese.

As a cheese lover, this poll hurts. I wish you to try many more cheeses TC.
WTF is Hispanic cheese? Do you mean like a Mexican blend?
Anyways, had to vote other. Broadly, i love goat cheese. It's hard to go wrong with goat, it's so smooth and really makes a great cheese. Like, goat cheddar melts like a smooth, fine chocolate in your mouth, it's crazy.
More specific favorite cheese, I'd have to say (smoky) fontina or possibly gouda. Then there's goat gouda...
Gosh i love cheese.
You know more than I do tbh. The rabbit hole goes deep. Cheese is like a science.
