Millennials bridge the gap between boomers and Gen z. We pretty cool.
skibidi toilet was zoomers, right?
As far as I'm concerned the entire human race is a waste of bio-matter. It's time for an extinction level event. Trust me Mother Earth won't miss us, nor will the universe for that matter.
Fr zoomers be bussin no capBorn in 2000. Never followed Zoomer trends.
Millennials are better looking and I'd have more in common with them in general given I'm a millennial too.Hardcore cope. Zoomers are younger and thus better looking. Its our time to pass the torch. I am 31 for instance.
Depends. Zoomers seem chill for the most part but I would connect with a Millenial far more as long as they are not that cringy left wing type .
No, that was Gen Alpha.then i hate them.
then i hate them.No one likes Gen Alpha.
No one likes Gen Alpha. My only contact with Gen Alpha are my nieces and I like them even if they are iPad babies
My only contact with Gen Alpha are my nieces and I like them even if they are iPad babiesThey don't have brain rot or listen to Cocomelon? No worries, I bet they are cool.
Hardcore cope. Zoomers are younger and thus better looking.
This isn't true at all. If you think the younger they are the better looking they are......I'm not going down that road.I mean, it's true to some degree, I at least I think everyone can agree that girls in their 20s are better looking than girls in their 30s, and girls in their 30s are better looking than girls in their 40s and so on, but let's not go past that
Gen Z has seen the largest education drop off every recorded. That, and i have a ton of teacher friends and 2 hiring manager friends across several states, and they universally confirm that Gen Z and A are functional morons. That reminds me, none of my gen z coworkers knew who Jimmy Carter was when he passed away a week and a half ago
At least Millennials get excused had their futures ruined by Gen X/boomers, and then had their whole worlds become a series of calamities after 9/11 (primarily if American).

Millennials constantly looking to blame all of their failings on other people is one of the things that make Millennials the worst generation.Right, accept this falls apart instantly as soon as we step outside of Meme World.
It's kind of a meme at this point that the "participation trophy generation" has absolutely no sense of personal responsibility or accountability. This sort of thing just kind of provides evidence that it's true (regardless of whether or not it actually is).
The counterpoint to the memes is the extremely tone deaf responses like "avocado toast" and "participation trophy", except unlike memes, they actually come from the mouths of god damn Congressmen and the like. No, I'd say an entire generation has a legit bone to pick when the prior Gen, in power and who made things awful to begin with, suggest they just work 2 jobs to get through college like they did. You know, when that was actually a feasible thing to do. Upon many other examples.
And why isn't it feasible to do that? You shouldnt have to work two jobs to better yourself.
Like, who is pointing a gun to your head and preventing you from getting a second job?
You shouldnt have to work two jobs to better yourself.Shouldn't and can't are two different things. I care about the can't then the shouldn't.
Like, who is pointing a gun to your head and preventing you from getting a second job?The point flew over your head there, matey.
The point flew over your head there, matey.
Most didn't need 2 jobs back in the gay for college. Hell, my parents were by any definition poor, and still got into sub-Ivy league school working their way through college with (1) concurrent job. But some may have needed 2.
2 jobs doesn't even come close to paying for standard tuition now, let alone any sort of living accommodations, expenses, etc. Which is beside the point is that even if they COULD, needing 2 jobs + school that rob your every waking hour on just those things just to have hope of a future is a sign of a failed society, which we are currently in. It's only feasible in an absolute vacuum, and even then only maybe.
So yeah, telling a younger generation to do things the prior generations did to get by, that no longer work primarily because of the actions of said prior generations is pretty high on the list of tone deafness and why societal struggles exist as they do. It's a little troubling I even have to explain that.
And my point is that regardless of some things being easier then they used to be and some things being harder then they used to be doesn't change the fact that no one is outright preventing me from doing what I want to do. If I really want to get a degree but I have to work two jobs while going to university full time to do it then that is exactly what I am going to do. I will buckle down and do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals and damn any idiot who thinks they can stand in my way.Cool, the hell does that have to do with anything I had to say?
Cool, the hell does that have to do with anything I had to say?Take the energy you spend complaining and do something about it.
My point, which you chose to reply to, is that current and future generations have it harder financially and prospective wise than generations prior, specifically because of actions and choices of said prior generations. Meaning, yeah, current and future gens have a lot of right to complain about being sleighted, and past generations shouldn't say dick about it.
Hence, the idiotic "they just need to bootstrap like.my generation did!" doesn't work, because it's not even possible to do the same actions for the same results and all.
I, uh, applaud you on your heroic feats if determination, though.
Take the energy you spend complaining and do something about it.I do.
who here is actually hanging out with zoomers long enough to make an informed opinion?*raises hand* My current assistant is an old Gen Zer, plenty.of co-workers are, too. I also do small-time side teaching at my university where I get exposure to them.
