dvi out of pc to hdmi in to tv, and the computer audio came through the tv along with the video

something that everything says is not possible to do but did

I did this on my 970 as well. Thought it was normal

I think when I first tried to do it back in 2010 I had to download a special driver for it on my GeForce 9800 GT. After that, NVidia just included it automatically in their default drivers so I never had to worry about it.
I feel like I need to put something here, or else I am one of those weird people who think that having no signature is a character trait.

I used DVI-D until like 2020.
