Hmm why Scotland everyone?
England is where my family escaped over 100 years ago so I'll give it a go to see what was so awful
I really dont want to move back to the UK, but if I had to, Id probably go to Edinburgh.
Also, Americans shitting on UK food can STFU.
is your username the name of a top ranked british food lol
Scotland is a shithole, literally all of it. Anybody saying Scotland hasn't had to suffer it, and Americans cosplaying being Scottish because a Scot 300 years ago nutted in an ancestor is cringe

Scotland pretty cold. Like nearly all year round cold.I am built for the cold. HATE heat.
I am built for the cold. HATE heat. And yet there is a pepper called a scotch bonnet that kind of heated. XD
I really dont want to move back to the UK, but if I had to, Id probably go to Edinburgh. It's probably F- tier. Your country literally considered garlic to be peasant food because it was too cheap. Your entire cuisine is taking a shotgun to your own leg because the queen once saw a poor/Irish man with one. Scones are stale tasteless bread. The queen of England's favorite food was gelatinous beans or something.

I once saw a video of British children eating fried chicken for the first time and it looked like they were about to pass out.
You get used to it.I cant even get used to england cold weather and i lived here all my life lol. I can take exceptional heat though. Some are just better off in certain temperatures.
I now find the perfect temp is 15c (59f) and I start getting uncomfortable at 20c (68f) lol. I'm originally from Texas.
I'd say it's more chilly or mild and comfortable being used to it here now with some Baltic cold windy days in the winter.
I thought scones were dry terribly tasting stuff based on having them in the US but I had some here and they're way better than any I had over there. I had one that was basically a sweeter US biscuit (not the flakey kind but the crumbly kind), buttery and moist.Scones are only generally moist and soft when fresh. All scones become dry and biscuity with time. If they were being imported to America, well that would be enough time for them to go dry. They also likely would go off too if there too much moisture in them to begin with for the trip.

I see that you know nothing of the food available in Britain. What the fuck are you on about, implying that kids dont normally get to eat fried chicken?
See winter who told you you could put bananas on a sandwichWait... are peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches not a thing in the US? Because that's a super common sandwich in my country.

Normally I'd put butter and jam on a scone. I wouldn't eat them without as they can be a bit dry unless it's a cheese scone and then I would eat them with just butter if I fancied it.

It doesn't even get below 0F. Its basically t-shirt weather all year round. Maybe a pull over depending on wind.
I cant do it. Im from the Northeast, where it gets cold, and Im not a fan. I like the heat way more. And can deal with heat better. But dont tell Reddit. They were mad at meReddit is very much a cult in certain subs. You simply cannot ever be the opposite of the supposed norm.

Yeah. I know. I hadnt been to that sub before, IIRC. So, I wasnt sure how they would react. But yeah. They didnt like that I could deal with the heat better. And something must be wrong with me because of it. And since the scientist in Antarctica are fine with the cold, I should be, too
