I'd guess it was packed with pork that didn't help anything and the bill in general was probably more to make Biden look like he was doing something without doing anything. That's usually the reason these things fail to get support. They had 4 years and still have time to at lest pretend to want to do something, but they won't try to do anything.
Good news is, if your worried about the border issue, Trumps gonna tackle it, and massively it sounds like. Good news is, he only needs the laws already on the books to do we don't need new sweeping changes to anything, just enforce the law.
If you are for real honestly worried about this. Go outside, talk to some real people. Get out of the echo chamber. Trump isn't going to arrest people for their political beliefs, he's not a communist.
He will lower your prices though and you will have more money to spend on therapy after a few months.
Love or hate Trump he attempted to do every single thing he promised to do the first time around. So you can expect the same again. He is entirely predictable because he tells you what he's doing openly. There is no secret agenda. Its more if the goverment allows him to do it or not.
You guys act like he's a malevolent spirit who's appeared on the earth to torment you, when in reality his entire life is public and documented, he is or was friends with every big name you can think of. He has no secret life or agenda. You can watch old stuff with him in it, and he's the same Trump.
I feel like a big part of politics is also maybe demonstrating your trying to do the thing? Kinda Harris's entire flaw is she had 0 policy and literally didn't do anything for 4 years. I can't think of a single thing she did, other then laugh at everyone and every question. Reason no one out side people who only vote party, voted for her is she had no policy. She didn't even know what she was going to do, you had to check a website. And she had nothing to show for what she did the last 4 years. Pretty much an empty campaign. You can't just run on "not Trump". Didn't help no one voted for her anyways, and she was just installed by rich elites and bypassed our democratic process.
Good news for you all is in 4 years, Trump can't run again so you just have to endure the hardship of lower prices and a media that won't shut up about him for 4 years, and your free to live in fear of the next big threat the media finds for you to fear. You'll survive, you may even thrive, but your hate will endure.
Also just to be clear, I didn't and wouldn't vote for Trump or any of them. I don't really personally care who won or lost. but this entire election is really weird. The entire fixation on Trump is weird. The being so overly devoted to a single party, is weird.
If you agree 100% with a single party (or even any one person), your in a cult. They are not right on every issue and the other side isn't wrong on every issue but if you watch people that is how they are acting increasingly and it's weird (goes both ways). The nation needs a lot more talking and realizing we agree on more then we disagree, and most disagreement is how to solve the issue rather then the issue, and most issues probably have a reasonable middle ground where everyone is kind of happy.
