I disliked candy corn before the Internet was widespread.
I liked circus peanuts but imagining the taste now makes me sick.

Honestly they aren't too bad, I wouldn't eat a handful, but I don't mind a few at a time. Maybe it's not too bad but not all candy is made to be devoured within 5 minutes.

I like both the taste and texture of candy corn, tbh. I'm not a picky eater though
That said I'll only eat like 5 or 6 pieces max, those things are weirdly rich

Tastes bad, has a bad texture, not good for you. Pointless candy.

ADDENDUM: There does exist some high quality candy corn out there that uses good quality honey, in which case it goes from "Terrible" to "ok". But something like candy needs to be better than "ok"

Sweets I keep out of the house. On salty snacks, I'm able to measure out a serving, put the rest away, and leave it at that. Sweets or licorice, I'm best off letting the sleeping dragon lie.

Candy Corn is the Nickelback of Halloween candy, incredibly mundane but not offensively bad. There are much better options out there, but some people like them and that's fine.

This thread has made me realize how much candy is out there that I just won't eat:

- Licorice/Red Vines
- Gummy worms. Actually, anything gummy at all.
- Sour Patch anything, sort of related to gummy.
- Candy corn
- Peeps
- Charleston Chews
- Mike and Ikes
- Circus peanuts
- Good and Plenty (double foul because the name sucks too)
- Bubblegum flavored gum. (Bubble tape, hubba hubba, double bubble, bazooka, etc.)

I didnt like it when I was a kid, and then I tried it when I was older and liked it. That was the last time I had it and I honestly havent even seen it since. Probably twenty years ago.

I dont like licorice and I never will. Im not much of a candy person in general. Those Popeye cigarettes are still my favourite pure-sugar treat.
