Honestly probably not. And thats not a put down like Im not good enough or anything but Im a very pragmatic person. Im in my late 30s and I have the dating experience of a middle schooler lol. Im not so ignorant that Im not unaware of how absolutely unappealing that is I genuinely cannot even imagine that thered be a woman out there whod have the patience to put up with my lack of experience.

Then theres the whole thing with not making enough money. I aint bringing kids into the world if I cant give them a good life. And Im too much of a dummy to think of what would be a good career for me that would give me a lot of money and benefits that I also wouldnt hate.

So put those two factors together and that equals no kids. I definitely couldve seen it happening if I had found love at a younger age and / or at least gotten my act together and gotten on a good career path. But with the hand I was dealt? \_()_/
You know what I blame this on the breakdown of? Society.
Probably not. Kids these days have gotten really smart about getting into the back of the van with the guy offering them Pokemon cards.

Maybe I just need new bait.

Hell no. I don't hate kids enough to bring them into this shithole.

I've come to terms with the fact that I'll never find someone but I wouldn't want to be a parent even if I could find someone.

Lower your expectations. And just make friends by exploring your states comedy scene, book stores, music at parks, exercise/yoga clubs, co-ed sports.

Dates develop emotional connection, which you might not want quickly. Its trendy to match fast. Its not a sign of insecurity to doubt. Nothing is forever is a great, mature mentality, which makes breaking up easier!
I don't know why you think I have any expectations

Unlikely, but I guess I can't know what the future holds until there.

Plus I am happy being single. It's a trust issue.

No. I don't have the patience or temperment to be a parent.
The world may be going to Hell, but I am personally awash with convenience.
We're open to the idea, but we're not going to be in a position to do so comfortably any time soon, and it's not enough of a priority that we want to try tightening our belts to make it happen.

I'd have to either adopt or cheat on my wife so, no I won't have them.

What if your wife goes full Old Testament and lets you have sex with her handmaiden to have a surrogate?

If it's good enough for God's chosen, who are you to say no?

I highly doubt that somebody looking for a life partner is interested in somebody with zero expectations.

Even if that's true I'm not sure how expectations are the reason, also I'm not even sure what expectations should be had when looking for a partner

Not a decision up to me as I cannot reproduce through mitosis
No. I knew early on (16-17 years of age) that I didn't want kids.
People kept telling me I'd change my mind.
20 years later, and I haven't second guessed that decision for a second.

I've also known who I am since about that age as well - someone who is greedy and possessive of their time and energy and I don't want to run anyone else's life but my own. I don't want that responsibility, and I don't want the risk of my kid turning out to be a disappointment.
I had a vasectomy nine years ago.
.
Got one. Was planning on having at least one more but we'll see now where the world goes in the next few years. If there's a national abortion ban that pretty much rules out even trying because we've had a miscarriage before and that becomes a potential major health threat without proper treatment available.
