psychic attack from the new machine girl albumnice production but I think it would be better as just instrumentals, I think the vocals are just unlistenable and neon white ost was the best thing they did.
I've been plumbing the depths of Zappa lately:Dude, I really need to dive into Zappa's discography. I had never bothered to approach his music for the longest time but quickly gained an appreciation for him when I did. I guess I just never got around to following through with that desire, so thanks for the reminder.

It was nuts when he had Ike Willis, Ray White and Bobby Martin all being absolutely mind-bending vocalists.
Okay, here's question for you all.
Does SZA's Saturn...

...sound like it was inspired by music from early Final Fantasy games to anyone else? Because that's all I can hear in my head whenever I hear it.
Also, while I'm on the music/video game subject, am I the only one who is half-convinced that Dua Lipa was playing Mass Effect when she wrote the lyrics to Levitating?

...if I had any video editing skills at all, I would totally make a video that's just clips from Mass Effect (mainly ME3 and the Citadel DLC, with a few clips from other games as well here and there), and I could fit stuff to almost every line of the song. I think the "renegading" line is what first put the thought into my head (and cue clips of Shepard doing Renegade interrupts at that point in the video), but there's a bunch of other lines as well. She mentions the Milky Way (show the galaxy map) and Mars (show the Mars base), but even more innocuous stuff like "levitating" (show a biotic floating), dance (there's multiple scenes of Shepard dancing), and just general flirting (cue all the romance scenes!).
nice production but I think it would be better as just instrumentals, I think the vocals are just unlistenable and neon white ost was the best thing they did.I understand where you're coming from. I personally feel like the vocals suit it just fine, and I don't typically care for screamo-adjacent vocals either. But the instrumental would be really good on its own, too.

There're also a lot of tracks that are waaayyy better live than the studio versions, in my opinion.

OK time to go into warp-driveFreaking love Louis Cole/KNOWER. It's hard to know which project is which as pretty much all the same people are involved. I guess Genevieve has a more prominent vocal role in KNOWER.
