Jumping from 15 lb to 25 lb across my full body workout has been a spiritual journey. You're a bell-end.

I'm not moving past this until I'm doing 20 reps easily across the board. I'll ask my land lord to buy the missing weights so the next sorry bastard doesn't have to go through that.

Also I'm getting to be kind of hot. Only 2 months of intense training* and I'm already noticably stronger that most other guys I see. I'll give it at least 4 months before I start dieting so I can have abs.

*(Intense training has been a full body workout 5/6 days a week, more recently splitting into chest/leg day as I put real stress on bigger muscles, but as a beginner you can totally get away with going crazy almost every day)

My weight went up 10 lb and then dropped after I started eating healthier and stopped drinking. So now I'm stabilized at 166 lb with fat dropping and muscle being added.

I don't think you need steroids at all tbh. Unless you want to look weird or unnaturally muscular. Creatine on the other hand, get your creatine.

This channel is great for info. I just binged his whole channel.

That's water weight/fat loss unless you are starving yourself. 3kg of muscle would be a lot. I might be weird but I don't keep track of these things very tightly, I just show up at the gym every day and take all the supplements I need, then try to go to failure as much as I can. You can't really measure 3kg of anything since that's well within water weight fluctuation.

My supplements are;
130 grams of protien (studies say you need your weight in pounds * 0.8 grams of protien daily for max growth, in metric that's (your weight in kg * 1.76 = g of protien))

5 grams of creatine daily (this is pretty important and will boost your muscle growth by 30% across the table). You should also look into pre-loading, where you take 25g daily for a week to absorb it as fast as possible.

Multi-vitamin (important not to have any vitamin deficiencies that could slow your growth).

Enough calories to maintain my small amount of belly fat, I guess. Bulking helps, but you don't need to do it if you don't want to get fatter.

Just give them back and I'll take back my insult, you don't want to lug around those weights when you move out anyway

You might want to calm it down and learn what youre doing before being this confident.

Ok fair enough, I just started

@acesxhigh
I'm not an expert, but the channel I linked is.

I still vouch for creatine pretty hard.

Sorry.. the 15s were too loose.. and the 25s were too tight.

Them 20s fit JUST right... I can bring them back if you really want. I just gotta clean them first.
No diggity, no doubt baby.
I got creatine just have to remember to eat it daily. I was eating after workouts with my protein and then I read that's not enough.

My modest goal is like, train for 4 days a week 2 push and 2 pull. and hopefully see results.

For some reason I can't do full body, I just get insanely tired from that.

Yeah 0.7-0.8g per lb is recommended by nearly everything I'm reading/hearing, spread out across the day preferably, and half of it "high quality protein", so protein from eggs/meat and not whey (I'm just repeating what I heard from Mike/other people who always cited studies)

But yeah it's really not recommended for a beginner to go crazy with all that because most new people tend to burn out after 1-2 months of going too hard, otherwise the more you go the more muscle you gain, it's basically a linear relationship.

Also even if you go 1/2 times a week you'll still slowly gain muscle. I split my full body workouts into 2 days too.

Also at least you're not getting their info from Chatgpt and its crazy hallucinating. Otherwise this is all just stuff I absorbed at some point.

Muscle gain is pointless. Build for strength not mass.

I don't knock strength training. Maybe once I hit 180 lb I'll switch to strength training. Right now I just want to look good tbh. Then I'll start trying to walk on my hands and do the cool tricks like that.

Are you doing any cardio to strengthen your heart for the additional muscle weight you plan on putting on?

Strength training i.e. lifting heavy for lower rep range I assume. Well, to me the opposite is true.

I have found that hypertrophy training is better for what I want to achieve. I want to look good and feel good. Lifting to me is more like rehab, from the pain of sitting in my office chair. I feel like the extra muscle mass helps a lot with regard to relieving bad posture habits and back pain.
i was stronger in high school when i weight 150
i'm lifting like 60% of what I did and i'm 190
