Yeah this is very upsetting. I played for a while before realizing the entire update is just worthless. Every added item is worthless. Not only is the added content bad, but the base game is ruined, and there's no good way to revert it. I held up hope until I actually played it and saw it myself. You can't finish a run without getting one-shot by some unbalanced nonsense. That was actually my favorite game.

Yeah, I haven't played the game in a long time, but I just saw that as the first note in the patch they rolled out. That's a pretty big oof.
